• Download update from http://openkm.com/download/okm/OpenKM-6.2.9.zip (password eMpg8eIjY5)

• Make a backup!!!

• Before upgrade to version 6.2.9 ensure you do not have any profile with web skin set to test.

• Stop Tomcat

• Run from your preferred SQL client these queries:

MySQL

-- Check if there are pending tasks
select * from OKM_PENDING_TASK;

-- Rename table field
alter table OKM_PENDING_TASK change PTK_PARAM PTK_PARAMS varchar(512);

• Edit OpenKM.cfg and set hibernate.hbm2ddl to update

• Replace the OpenKM.war

• Start Tomcat again

• Ensure HTML Editor values in configuration parameters are correct okm_checkin, okm_cancelcheckout, okm_searchDocument, okm_searchFolder, newdocument, codehighlighting, |, bold etc...

• Enjoy OpenKM 6.2.9!

If you have any weird problem try to stop Tomcat, delete these folders:

• $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/OpenKM
• $TOMCAT_HOME/work/Catalina/localhost

And start Tomcat again.

Recommended to clear browser cache and Java Plugin cache
